Just put a 6 speed into my car, is there anyway to adjust how it determines gear selected?

This rom is really not well fleshed out, is it?

Code:
Gear_Determination_Thresholds_A C19DC
Gear_Determination_Thresholds_B C19F0

No, not AT / MT - other logic - not known at the moment what the switch is. Never really looked into it, to be honest - it's A/B/C in all the roms.

Yeah ok thanks

Fark that didnt take long. Cheers.
I rekon ill match it to a STi map and see how it goes then?? Good idea?

Makes sense - these are very Alpha territory, so little written about practical application - there's some information in the Carberry Rom on the earlier 16bit implementation.

Yeah ok ill have a look. Are you sure the background noise delta smoothing and knock threshold weight RPM delta short odd values are correct?

Yes - I checked against the logic, not the data specifically.

i have found changing the knock sensor parameters to match a forester XT, it make it even more sensitive, thinks its knocking all the time.

Bit of an update.

Car still going strong!! About to convert it to DOHC and coil on plug (decent set of cams and heads should liven it up more). So things should get interesting!

Couple small questions, im guessing my ecu does not have a IAM? Does not pop up anywhere.
What do people think about blow-thru MAFs? or wiring in a separate air temp sensor?
Iv been running the stock DBW map which is basically the same as a cable, is there an benefit in messing around with it? ie. better fuel eco or drivability??

Thanks

Yes there is some benefits, will send you a tune tweak based on your current tune etc
