databits = 8
scalingrpn = x

paramname = Knock_Sum_Cyl_2
paramid = 0xFF7BFE
databits = 8
scalingrpn = x

paramname = Knock_Sum_Cyl_3
paramid = 0xFF7BFF
databits = 8

paramname = Knock_Sum_Cyl_4
paramid = 0xFF7C00
databits = 8

is the code copy to the RR logger xml directly??

looks different with other definition

Those are Openport 2.0 logger configuration lines, not RR.

Which CAL ID?
Some are already in the latest logger def release. If not I can add them.

I have checked allready on FB25 engine-
A- cyl.1
B- cyl.2
C- cyl.3
D- cyl.4

In fact I complately changed "per cylinder correction" tables to make all engine cylinders knocking at one level.
I just look into log file and compare feedback to knocking counts and correct exact cylinder only.

At stock ROM knocks 4 and 2 cyl only.
And what is interest and stupid - in stock Rom cyl. 2 have +1.5 deg corr, in fact I make it -1.5-2.0 deg.
cyl 4 have -2-3 deg, cyl 3 +2 deg. Other cyl's zeroed.
So after I make new "per cyl correction" tables I'v back to stock base timing without knocking (4-6 deg difference).
Also car have more torque and power.

Here is the romraider logger definition for AZ1G900C.

I haven't tested this, but the rom structure was identical to td-d's AZ1G202G findings in this area.

Code:
<ecuparam id="E165" name="Knock Sum Cylinder 1*" desc="E165-Knock count associated with cylinder 1" target="1">
    <ecu id="7452584007">
        <address>0xFF7C35</address>
    </ecu>
    <conversions>
        <conversion units="count" expr="x" format="0" gauge_min="-100" gauge_max="300" gauge_step="25" />
    </conversions>
</ecuparam>
<ecuparam id="E166" name="Knock Sum Cylinder 2*" desc="E166-Knock count associated with cylinder 2" target="1">
    <ecu id="7452584007">
        <address>0xFF7C36</address>
    </ecu>
    <conversions>
        <conversion units="count" expr="x" format="0" gauge_min="-100" gauge_max="300" gauge_step="25" />
    </conversions>
</ecuparam>
<ecuparam id="E167" name="Knock Sum Cylinder 3*" desc="E167-Knock count associated with cylinder 3" target="1">
    <ecu id="7452584007">
        <address>0xFF7C37</address>
    </ecu>
  <conversions>
        <conversion units="count" expr="x" format="0" gauge_min="-100" gauge_max="300" gauge_step="25" />
    </conversions>
</ecuparam>
<ecuparam id="E168" name="Knock Sum Cylinder 4*" desc="E168-Knock count associated with cylinder 4" target="1">
    <ecu id="7452584007">
        <address>0xFF7C38</address>
    </ecu>
    <conversions>
        <conversion units="count" expr="x" format="0" gauge_min="-100" gauge_max="300" gauge_step="25" />
    </conversions>
</ecuparam>

Hi Oren, could you please find the addresses for AZ1J500G?

I've been chasing some knocks between 1600 and 2400 rpms at 0.85 to 1.15 g/rev. I've retarded timing by 2-3 degrees, and still get some knock.

Looking at Timing Comp per Cyl B & D, there is a 1.05 compensation.

I hope logging these parameters will give me some insight.

Thanks!

I noticed on the AZ1J500G, when I start logging Knock Sum, cylinders 1 to 3 start with 0 and build up as knock occurs. However, cylinder 4 starts out with 4 and increments as knocks occur.

Is it really like that?
