The Innovate MTS (LM-2) support changed in 0.5.4b RC1 (build #370) to try to be more flexible with MTS. You can go back a version and give that a try.
If you are willing to assist debugging it that would be helpful to me and anyone else in the future.

I am certainly willing to assist you; I've been trying to tune using a LM-2 w RR (pulling my hair out) for weeks. I will give it another try on Wednesday, log my findings, and post them here. I must fix it; I can't afford another WBO2.

BTW, you guys have done a fabulous job w RR. I can't thank you enough for the great app, and definitely appreciate the work that went into creating it.

S.

The best thing to do it figure out how to replicate the problem reliably.

Set the debugging up for TRACE level (Help -> Debugging Level -> TRACE)
Then delete the rr_system.log (Help -> Debugging Level -> Open Log Location)
Close RR Logger, delete the rr_system.log and restart RR Logger and repeat the steps to reproduce the problem.

Submit the rr_system.log file after you shutdown the Logger and any data log file you may have made.

I also have an updated build to change MTS logging from event driven to polled if that helps. I can provide it upon request.

Hey All

Reviving this thread from the dead:)

I got my LM2 on Friday and have been trying to get it to work.

I had logworks installed for my LC-1 but i re-installed it with the cd they sent. I can get the LM-2 to read 100% in logworks. i went through a few posts and when mine comes up in the select box when asking for external plugins ports, i only get port "0" as an option, then i select innovate mts to display and i just see zero's. the interesting thing is that i connected to the LM2 using the logworks programmer and i added my initials to the name, i can see this as the name in romraider, which means it is reading something. i tried various tings, rebooting, unplugging, plugging in again, restarting the software and also even disabling the modem as one post pointed out. actually i moved it to port 26.

i'm not sure what else to try, i have attached my logfile.

If anyone has some suggestions, please let me know :)

Thanks!!

You may need to install the SDK http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/supp ... KSetup.zip

It is working and reading data.

I suspect you don't have a connection to the ECU as I see this:
Code:
51592 DEBUG [Thread-5] - Found J2534 Vendor:Tactrix Inc. - OpenPort 2.0 J2534 ISO/CAN/VPW/PWM | Library:C:\Windows\system32\op20pt32.dll

51598 INFO  [Thread-5] - J2534 connection not available, trying serial connection...

To be able to read from the External sensors (LM-2) only you need to un-select the ECU & TCU checkboxes on the toolbar.
Or allow the Logger to connect to the ECU and read engine data and the LM-2 together.

ah Thank-you dschultz,

I went through the log before i sent it and it made sense that it was reading just not displaying.

I'll give it a try just now and let you guys know,

Thanks for taking the time to look at the logs and help me out.

Cheers
