i´ve been testing your r11 rom and it´s workin´ great.

Yesterday i tested r12high boost rom, and i think it need a lot more timing advance...

80-120kmh was with r11 3,7sec and with r12 it was 4,2sec.

ok, the weather was different, but not that much.

Car has -04 (edm) sti tmic (yes it was tight fit ). Otherwise completely stock.

Next steps are: walbro fuel pump, sti cat back, 3" bellmouth (i am going to leave stock 2nd cat) and ihi vf35.
I think i have lot of work to get that setup tuned... Haven´t seen any maps for ej255 with vf35 (yes i know it is small for 2.5l, but what isn´t ).

I have test your “Patricks final stage 1 r12 high boost r3” and this issue still there. In normal driving when the engine get 3.000 rpm and you need to accelerate more to keep the speed. You will notice little jerks (and see the needle up and down). I’m using you “Patricks final stage 1 r11” without any modification, just download and flash it. I'm out travelling so I've just taken a quick look at both of your logs.

Iner, you are right - the timing seems off. Check and compare the base timing and kca tables of the two roms. Use the tables from the rom with the more advanced ignition. See what happens. Do a map compare too to check for more timing related changes between the roms.

Nacho, there is something strange about your log so I can not analyse it. Copy paste maps from my rom to a clean copy of your stock rom, see if that works for you.

Total timing tables r11 and r12 roms.

i copy r11 base timing + advance tables in the r12 rom.

Now it pulls nicely again.

Can´t get the target boost yet. Think i need fine tune wg tables... Not going to ask too much from my stock turbo. It has been working hard +240000km

I copied around 25 tables of your stage 1 r11 to the stock rom and seems to work

anyone know if the stg1 map will work on a USDM 05 auto trans fxt?

classicaddict: you can copy paste the main maps to a clean version of your stock rom.

I took a quick look, and looks good.
For stock exhaust i didn't run that much boost in top, but my timing was 2-3 degrees more in top end.
Cant test anymore because i dont have stock turbo in car now.

I was wondering is the edm maps could be used for a usdm car. Or can I take some tables from your map and add it to my usdm base map?

Copy paste my tables to your rom. Run premium fuel and log knock.

You can post your rom once you've copied tables (a change log would be nice too) and we can check it for you.

As I understood Patricks maps are made for Forester with automatic transmission. How useable those are in cars with manual transmission?

I have 5MT MY04 Forester with EJ255 and 3" decat downpipe installed. I'm currently looking forward in tuning my maps to better match the better flowing exhaust pipes. Patricks maps look so much different from the stock one that I downloaded from the vehicle's ecu. So much less boost on low rev range.

What roms are you looking at?

Post your stock rom here and I can take a look at it, but you should be able to do copy paste of my stage 1/2 maps no problem.
