Try using -5 degrees , that was applied in a recent update for the 86/Brz from Avo
---
1. Startup ignition retard - the default value for startup is -15 degrees. This is instituted by the manufacturer for emission reasons only, and only affects that initial cold startup. It is also rather excessive and makes a car that has had it's cats removed sound like it has an exhaust leak at startup. We have reduced it to -5 degrees only to reduce that nasty startup noise.

Does anyone know the code for a 2007 STI? ECU: A2UJ000J

Some things I've noticed:
Initial startup ignition timing ranges from -3* to 1 or 2* advanced until coolant temps reach about 120f, then tapers up to the ~16 advance within 10 seconds. During that time, the car is very loud, the throttle is opened to -12in hg vacuum (usually 17-19) and cannot drive the car until the timing returns to normal.

I wonder if there's also a fix for the 1/3second throttle delay that's related to emissions...The delay is 100% NON EXISTANT in my 2004 STI. The 04 feels like it has a cable throttle, there's no delay and there's no hesitation that people seem to regularly experience. I'm getting close to finalizing my speed density tune (in the 07) and I figured the little hesitation is related to things not being perfect.

I don't know if anyone here rides dirtbikes but on a carbureted 450f if you goose the throttle from idle it has the same type of hesitation - often called flame-out in which the fuel enrichment doesn't travel fast enough as the throttle is opened (I think.).

I fixed the flame out hesitation; I made the tau cylinder wetting very similar to my 04 sti -- A few values were 0.25 ish and i made them 1.00. Still looking for those startup timing tables though ;)

That's what I assume. If you log Total Ignition Timing upon cold start you will see it hovers right around 0 to -3* retard. And high EGTs. Then I assume after a Decay it resumes to normal, I also notice on mine that when it does switch to the low timing, the AFRs go to stoich when they should be lower.

What is wrong here? Do I have to get the address' for A8DH200X because it inherits from that? Not really sure how that works...

Edit: Got the ignition timing to show correctly I believe. The coolant temp is not showing correctly... Here is my base and rom definitions
