04 wrx, p0031 front 02 sensor low input
tried another sensor that was good when i removed it. Batt+ To heater ok. ground from ecu works then starts to blink like its PWM and shuts off
afr reads for around 5 seconds and stops.
I tired solid ground to heater and disabled the p0031 dtc,
any input? have new o2 sensor on way

could there be a short in the wires somewhere? the first few seconds will be the heater circuit getting up to temp so could be related.
Just because the sensor was working though doesn't always mean that when it's reinstalled it will still be working - if it got whomped by something during removal or when moving between cars or during installation its possible something has snuffed in it.

ecu had resistor broke off pcb poor ground connections on the engine harness plugs behind battery. ecu would fault out because of low heater current!
