Try to read what i wrote!
There may be such a map, its probably used in the calculation of indicated torque, but its definately not the map i mentioned earlier as that is ONLY active in idlespeed condition!

Does anyone have list that describe what the different acronyms mean in ms42. I have gathered some kind of list but to add more maps to the xml, I need more complete listing. Code: KST = before engine start KNS = after cold start ST = engine start LL = idlespeed TL = part load VL = full load WL = warmup state KF = angle map? TAB = value map? ZW = ignition angle FAK = multicaptive factor ADD = additive factor N = RPM TI = injection DIAG = error situation DISA = DISA TKW1 = cold engine TKW2 = warm engine BEST = optimal NWSOL = vanos A = exhaust E = intake LMM = maf -B = basic KA = with AC TKW = coolant temp TAL = intake temp TOEL = oil temp TOTZ = delay VANOS = vanos SOLL = airflow??? KATV = kat variant HYS = hysteresis LAM = closed loop FETT = rich condition MAGER = lean condition NKAT = post cat MDK = throttle angle EDIT never mind. Here is one: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwfSP ... WoyU3JRRk0

As always, very nice work everyone.
Has anyone found or found the need for AE/ tip in/ wall wetting type stuff? I have not upgraded injectors yet but I would assume this would be useful.

I have found the need to tune it with many standalone setups but I think we will be okay with the MS42/43 as many have tuned larger injectors and have not asked for this table. It is probably multiplicative anyway so it works pretty good if your other fuel tables are scaled nicely.

There is still some errors in that xml but I will try to hunt those down for the next version. My friend is building turbo e39 and I will tune it using stock ms42. We will probably use m54b30 MAF because it will go over 1000kg/h. Not having the 2048kg/h MAF mode will be a broblem but I will have to work around it.

In the mean time I will work on tuning stock ecu with an upgraded MAF and injectors. Then when boost is ready the tune will come easy.

First post so here goes...
I would like to change some basic parameters like lambda configuration and e-thermostat settings. The car is M52TuB28 swapped e30 with the original ecu + ews running 0110C6 firmware.
With the latest ECU definitions file (0.32) all maps seem to load correctly. However, when I want to change the E-thermostat settings I notice that the map is much smaller then the map in 0110AD? (like 3 times less columns & rows) For some reason with the 0110C6 partial loaded the map's name shows "Coolant Temp without A/C (0110CA)"?? Also the DISA map for instance is totally different in 0110C6 and 0110AD. Is this normal or am I missing something?
I'm a bit lost at this stage because I would really like to flash a partial file to this ECU since I cannot figure out why I'm having issues reading/writing the full flash with either Galletto & JMGarage using the bench setup described on the wiki...
Hopefully someone can help me.

The e-thermostat maps are smaller in CA and C6 so those are correct. Bit I'm not yet sure about the DISA maps. I'm currently testing if those work. Don't know about galetto, but the older garage flasher works for me. Most of the time The newer works never. And the chipsters mss5x flash tool works like a treat.

Has anyone also had problem, putting the MS42 ECU to Boot mode? I tried with the JM garage flasher, but it keeps saying Wrong echo byte. Goes to 3% then stops when I click connect. For boot pin I use Pin 24 on the Flash. I have also tried a pin 104 on the CPU but still no luck. When also trying to connect with INPA, ECU responds. With MPPS I can also still read the part flash of 32Kb. I'm doing everything on the "bench" using the 2 wires for 12v supply, one ground, K-line and a needle pin connected to GND and other side to the correct pin on the flash.
