Ground at engine block and pin 28 of dme.
Maybe I should use the key harness instead?

about byte 7

i have 9, that means

00001001
76543210

that means asc ignition retard and
akf ON

i dont have AKF and i dont have ASC..so maybe i need to have 00000000 decimal and 0 bin in place of 9?

thanks!

Just do AKF. I don't think the ASC bit is tested and should not impact anything as it's identical in both ASC and non-asc cars.

ASC bit ON means ASC is optional and will only work if ASC module is present.
ASC bit OFF means ASC is ignored regardless if ASC module is present or not.

Wanted to know if any definition files with ews delete for an e36 328I is floating around out there. I recently tried flashing and romraider and it work seemlessly, just need to remove the ews functionality... Please provide some input, much needed!

Byte 6 - MS41.0 only
Bit 2 = 1 = 2 channel O2
Bit 2 = 0 = 1 channel O2

If you switch MS41.0 to 1 channel O2, it only uses one O2 sensor. Is it the one that is in the exhaust manifold when stock, or the one in the Y pipe before catalyst on 323i/320i exhaust? Is there a big difference in accuracy of fuel adaptations when used in 1 channel mode?

EDIT: I've just discovered that on EU 323i the O2 sensors are both in the exhaust manifolds despite ETK schematics showing it in the Y pipe. That renders my question irrelevant.

It is. But some changes also ... I would prefer ews delete in fullread not partial.
