Hello,

I have a wrx sti 2011 EDM with some modifications:

Turbo FP Green
EBCS 3ports
ID1050x
TGV Delete
Tomei Headers
DP Catless
Invidia R400
IAG PTFE Fuel System Kit Aeromotive FPR, IAG Fuel Rails
Mishimoto Air Intake

Maybe I forget something

The car is running well, but when I'm cruising in the highway about 75 milles (120km/h) in 6th gear I have always high knock!

I tried a lot setups with the fuel, with timing and it is always the same, when I'm cuising the car in this situation has no torque!! and If I push the accelerator the knock starts

I don't know how to fix

I attach a picture and my actual rom

Thank u for your help!

Have you ruled out that anything is loose and rattling causing the sensor to think it's knock?

I think not, because if I copy the time Cruise to non-cruise I didn't see the knocking but the car has no torque after +3000rpm

I will try to play with AVCS next time and I look what happen's

I really don't think its real knock (det cans will confirm as you should be using them anyway)
You're lugging the engine and box at those rpm's in 6th gear it will be causing gearbox noise and your knock sensor is picking it up. its a pretty common thing on subarus.
theres a simple fix since you're getting knock off boost.

Go into your map.
Ignition timing - Knock control - feedback correction range (rpm) and raise it a little higher
or you could also raise your Feedback correction min load to something higher too.

reason no knock if you copy the none cruise timing is you're not creating as much torque to allow the gearbox to make the noise that the knock sensor is picking up

but always confirm with det cans then you know if its real or phantom knock. this is really important that you use them.

I think besides Lugging the engine a little at that low of RPM, you could probably pull timing a couple degrees in those cells where you see the knock. It's probably just slightly too advanced if copying your other table here fixes that..

Also have you zeroed your two load comp tables yet? I assume you have. I don't know what your atmo pressure are but where I was able to essentially zero them for my own car so nothings messing with what I'm asking it to do.

this is my log doing a similar thing (youll notice my wgdc is 0 though so not exactly the same)

I forget I have ACT Clutch Stage 1 + Flywheel

SB10-HDSS - ACT Heavy Duty Performance Street
ACT XACT Streetlite Clutch Flywheel

Maybe this increase the noise... when I start my AC I can hear

https://youtube.com/shorts/TlCn8iL0NRY? ... lEnkz0OOZx

Today I was doing more test and It is always the same, in 1-5gear no problem when I put 6th gear I have knock

I will play more with the tip-in and put the original values from stock and more fuel and reduce timing. But is strange because the car has no power in this situation

you need to run DET cans during these events and confirm you actually have knock

If it turns out this is not knock, ater checking with det cans. What would the next step be? Lower the knock threshold?

Hi!

Sorry for my late answer but I'm very busy and my Subaru is my car only for weekend!

I was playing with the AVCS and I put the original values and the torque is better when I'm cruising

I increase a little the FBKC 0.90 to 1.10

I will do a DET Cans in my home, I see some manual in internet
