is it possible to put the groupN rom in the ecu, or is it necessary to find a GroupeN ecu ?

I have a good feeling it might just work, if not try these from the 2006 Year, on ADA Pro hexedit, this shows as A4TJ1X00.GNCopyrightSTI2006Y as compared to the previous rom which shows as A4TJ1X00.GNCopyrightDENSO2004 starting from 0x200. Try see and give us some logs

Paul_P1 wrote: Seriously.....? What do you mean by this? Are you being sarcastic or are you also looking for an update too? Is all I have to do is hook up a switch to the proper pin on the ecu or is there more that needs to be done. What about the air temp sensor? Is this 100% need or will the one in the maf sensor work? I also noticed on the A4TJ1X00 that there is a fix for the speed density alternate load base compensation mode. What does this do in simply terms? Thanks for the great work done all ready.

Read the table descriptions in RR, they explain in great detail. By checking the box for speed density alternate load base compensation mode, you are cutting the load base compensation table out of the loop and use the target fueling table as a VE table. The IAT in the MAF works and I found it handy to keep the MAF installed since you can log MAFv, this is helpful for converting your old tune to SD. Check out this thread topic5327.html for more info on ALS. And yes, it does work- http://www.youtube.com/user/agrabau#p/a/u/0/oL47-m5Q8oc action vid.

Try see and give us some logs Do you have a Gr. N map for A4TJ111C (2005 JDM V9 STi Spec-C)? Or if the N12 map should be ok, I'll give it a shot. Thanks a lot. I've posted up some info in another thread about wiring the IC AUTO switch. Hope it helps.

Currently only have those the 2004 and 2006 versions of the A4TJ1X00 maps, please let us know if any of them runs well on the 2005 jdm spec C. Thanks.
