I do have ECU ID 7412597007:

I understand now that for extended parameter to show on the logger i need to have the computer connected to the car.

Thank you.

I don't know whether this is the right place to post this, but I can't seem to log any EGT parameters using the RomRaider logger definition for my ECU (7412597007 - 2011 STi MT). Actually just use my OP2.0 and an SD card to do my logging, but it's based off of the RR logger definitions.

I've tried a few of them, specifically 0x0106 (Exhaust Gas Temperature). They just come up as a static number.

All other parameters that I've logged that are applicable to my car work great. Are the newer cars not equipped with factory EGT sensors or something?

Thanks.

The easiest way to determine which Standard SSM parameters are support by your ECU is to connect to the ECU with RomRaider Logger. After you do this the Parameter and Switch lists will be filtered such that only the items that your ECU supports will be listed. To be able to match each parameter or switch up to the logger.xml file and figure out the address to query, hover over each item with the mouse cursor. When you do this context help will appear with a P or E number. Take note of each P number as this is the id= value for the Standard SSM parameters in the logger.xml file. E is for Extended parameter.
On the switch tab S# for switches.
If EGT disappears from the list then it is not a valid parameter for your ECU.

Does the RR switch parameter list already corresponds to that ecu returns ?
It did not take place before...

Yes now with the latest version and this logger.xml file.
Second item in this logger update list: viewtopic.php?t=7755

Thanks guys, glad I'm not going crazy at least. Nice to know RR does that filtering for you as well.

You mean for editing or logging? All supported SSM parameters should be available to you. Extended parameters would need to be defined along with the editor def. Someone familiar with 16bit ECU will need to work on it.

Could someone please tell me where to place this logger.xml file? I keep selecting the file through the ECU Definition manage tab and then launch the logger. But I keep getting a window telling me to go to the interent and get the logger definition. A little guidance please.
